Muthodi
is serene, picturesque and beautiful moist deciduous forest
patch with lush green vegetation of Bamboo and tree species
all round the year and it is situated in the valley of Jagara.
The visit does not disappoint the tourists even when the animals
expected are not sighted.
Tourists all over the country even foreigners are visiting
Project tiger Reserve and Nature Camps in Muthodi and B.R.P.
and the total turn over is around 1000 tourists visit the
reserve.
The Sanctuary is well connected to important cities like Chikmagalur,
Shimoga, Tarikere and Bhadravathi by road and rail.
